Disney XD plans to burn out five episodes next week, starting on Monday. These are out of production order, so take note when editing.
Xiaolin Chronicles and Xiaolin Showdown occur as alternate timelines. Chronicles is not a sequel rather than a spin off. When making edits on the character Biographies and histories, do not note Chronicles as a sequel. Each is seperate with the events being non-continuous.
TL; DR: XC and XS aren't the same. Please don't refer to them as the same in character pages.
A new infobox for Shen Gong Wu is being developed. An example of how it would look on a page can be viewed here. Please place any comments, concerns, or areas of improvment below.
Originally a time-skip would have worked. However with all the Wu starting to change majorly (minus the iconics), it would seem we need to call it an alternate timeline, as XC from the bat made almost 2/3rd's of XS non-cannon. However this is up to debate, so let us debate.
My point: Season 3 is basically non-cannon. Raimundo is not the leader. They Retconned all the characters back to season two. By the looks of it all the non-iconic Wu are just completly being retooled, and Chase debuted without Guan, implying he might not exist anymore (which I really want to dobut), but by the looks of it with Wuya as a Ghost (and being trapped in a spring) this means Everything From the Chase Arc to TaT: II was scrapped.
With Xiaolin Chronicles coming closer and closer, we need to have an admin meeting to prepare this wiki before the show airs and do as much as we can. Right now, the time and date for this meeting is up in the air; I'd like it to be where everyone is available.
Beating the horse to the punch. Effective July 1, the COPPA law will be in effect with an ammendment that affects collecting data from IPs. Basically, Xiaolinpedia may or may not have anynomous editing disabled. This includes editing pages and making comments on walls, forums, or blogs.
Why: Xiaolin Showdown is aimed ages 6-16. Xiaolin Chronciles may be aimed at kids ages 13 or greater, however we do not know.
Pros: No anoymous spamming.
Cons: No good faith anonymous editing, no good faith anonymous commenting. May lower traffic.
Recommended solution:Anons get accounts. It's easy to set up.
Fellow admins, welcome RockLepus145ES, into the Administration team as well as the Admin Council.
It's time we prepare for the timeskip problems we are going to face with the Characters and Shen Gong Wu. I suggest some research be done by the admins to see how this problem was tackled in those wikis before the next meeting on Sunday June 30 at 5:00 PM GM-7.
Alright, so this is something that we need to take care of. I noticed that the majority of the Wiki's runnings were done by me. While I asked for imput, I still ran the shebang. As I am stepping back to a somewhat retirement phase, coming here once a month or so I seem to have a fond feeling for this place and what we've done with it in such a short time.
Anyways we need to form a council of sorts. We're going to retire the ATC, as it is inactive and pointless. There will be four chairs, we only need four admins, and by default it's myself, Leven, True, and Ezio. So in this council we need to decide what we stand for, how we will operate, how we will run the wiki, so pretty much our republic. Any thoughts?
